RED BUD - July 2025 The Port has completed the feasibility study for a jet fuel pipeline from the Fayetteville terminal to Mid AmericaSt. Louis airport and Scott Air Force Base. The study documents that the pipeline is feasible and there are no major impediments. The next step would be to conduct a Phase 1 study.
RED BUD - March 2025 The Governor of Illinois appointed five new board members to the Port. They are Christina Herrmann, Amanda Chase, Donna Richter, Karen Stallman, and Chris Kattenbraker. Three incumbent board members were reappointed - Joe Luechtefeld, Mark Chatham, and Ron Kaempfe.
KRPD #2 - March 2025 The Port has completed its portion of the new conveyor. This project was funded by the Illinois Ports Program through IDOT. The conveyor will add to the infrastructure of the Port and support the expansion of Gateway FS dry fertilizer distribution center by 40%. (see photo)
