The Port is governed by a 15-member board. All members are appointed by the Governor.
The Port District's headquarters is located at 336 N. Main St. Red Bud, IL.
The Kaskaskia Regional Port District is unique in that it has five terminals at various locations within the District. Each terminal has a unique combination of infrastructure assets and transportation linkages that offer many options for shippers to use the Port.
The Port works with existing tenants, and prospective companies on their needs to create a partnership for the best outcome for all parties. The Port is investing heavily at all terminals to upgrade facilities and to improve safety and efficiency at all of the terminals. The total investment planned is valued at over $44 million.
